How Readings Work
Publisher and Editorial Philosophy
Lune & Sage publishes mytarotreading.me. We do not present any reader as a named person. Our focus is to provide a quiet, reflective digital space where anyone can explore the imagery of traditional tarot cards. Every interpretation offered on the platform is created to encourage personal introspection and thoughtful self-examination rather than outward authority.
The Deck Tradition
The foundation of our platform rests upon the Rider-Waite-Smith deck. This classical 78-card deck consists of 22 Major Arcana cards and 56 Minor Arcana cards divided across four distinct suits: Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles. Designed under A. E. Waite and illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith, the deck was first published by Rider in 1909. Its detailed visual symbolism, rich allegorical scenes, and historical depth serve as the primary reference for every card text, upright and reversed interpretation, and reading provided across the entire site.
Historical Sources and Card Guides
Our primary written source is A. E. Waite, The Pictorial Key to the Tarot (1911, public domain). Whenever our comprehensive card guides discuss classical card meanings, they quote Waite word for word from the public-domain text and name the source directly. This gives seekers transparent access to original historical interpretations from the early twentieth century. Cards that do not yet feature an extended full guide present a concise, traditional summary of upright and reversed themes.
How Readings Are Structured
A reading on mytarotreading.me provides structured reflection. You begin by selecting a focus area and formulating a clear personal question. You draw three cards by hand from the shuffled deck. Each card sits in a named position within the spread, such as past, present, or future, and lands upright or reversed. The reading interprets only the cards you drew, honoring their specific positions and orientations in direct relation to your stated question. If you wish to explore deeper nuances, follow-up questions and a clarifier card cost 6 coins each. In the rare event that technical issues interrupt a session and a reading cannot be completed, coins are refunded automatically to your balance.
Yes/No Determinations
Yes/No answers follow each card's traditional lean across the deck: 48 cards lean Yes, 16 No, 14 Maybe. The orientation of the drawn card directly impacts this determination: a reversed Yes card reads as Maybe, while a reversed No or Maybe card reads as No. Every visitor receives 1 free Yes/No every day, while additional inquiries cost 6 coins.
Daily Cards and Fixed Formulas
The daily card stays the same all day on your device, ensuring a consistent theme for morning meditation and evening journaling. The day follows UTC on the English site. In addition to individual draws, each zodiac sign has one shared card per day. These daily selections are not arbitrary; cards are chosen by a fixed daily formula based on calendar dates and cyclical card associations.
Editorial Checklist and Quality Standards
Before a card guide can appear in search it must pass an automated checklist: required sections, at least 1,200 words, a Waite quote matched word for word against the public-domain text, no unfounded claims (guaranteed outcomes, certainty, fear hooks, medical, legal or financial advice), no near-duplicate text across guides, a dated last check. Guides are published gradually as each article meets our strict transparency and accuracy criteria.
Ethical Boundaries and Limits
Tarot is an introspective tool designed for reflection, not prediction. A reading knows only what you share in your question and the specific cards drawn from the deck. Interpretations do not provide absolute answers about the future. Content on this site is not medical, psychological, legal, investment or financial advice; for important decisions talk to a qualified professional.

Corrections and Inquiries
We value factual accuracy and transparency in all published materials. If you notice any discrepancy or typographical error, please Contact us or write directly to [email protected]; when a guide is corrected its update date changes on the page.
